ABOUT

Hello, my name is Taylor Bryant and I founded Innergized Counseling and Wellness, PLLC in 2022. My background in counseling began in 2005 working with at-risk youth through community- and school-based programs in Austin and Fort Worth, Texas. In 2015, I started working as a Mental Health Technician and training to become a professional counselor at Texas State University.

While completing a Master's degree in professional counseling and working full-time at an in-patient residential treatment facility for high-risk youth, I developed my skills and experience as a practitioner, milieu coordinator, and program manager. I gained valuable insight from interacting with patients and their families, learning from established therapists, and mentoring under seasoned mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, registered nurses, psychologists, program coordinators, risk managers, and patient advocates.

Through extensive training and experience, I have found that clients can achieve significant progress by recognizing their inner strengths, addressing their vulnerabilities, and exploring the spaces in between. I use the term "Innergized" to define this approach, which aims to achieve self-acceptance and empowerment. The mission of ICW is to empower clients to become their greatest resource for positive change, wellness, and fulfillment.

In addition to a strength-based approach, I use various evidence-based techniques that are tailored to the needs of each client. These techniques include but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-based therapy, family systems therapy, psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused therapy, trauma-informed therapy, humanistic therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and psychoeducation. I continuously strive to stay up-to-date with the latest research and implement the best-practice standards available, as psychology and mental health are constantly evolving fields.
