What techniques and methods do you use?At ICW, we provide a diverse range of treatment options tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients. Our therapists are well-trained in CBT, ACT, and Family Systems Theory and utilize their clinical expertise and professional supervision to provide the best possible care. We also focus on mindfulness skills and place great importance on individual values. It is important to note that ICW does not prescribe medication as it is beyond the scope of our practice.

How do you handle payments?ICW offers a simple, automated payment system for your convenience. After completing your intake forms and signing the necessary disclosures online via TherapyPortal, you will be prompted to securely enter your credit card information into our encrypted system. From there, after your first appointment, the system will automatically charge your credit card on the same evening. You won't have to take any further action unless you wish to update your credit card information, which you can easily do from your user portal at any time. However, if you prefer to pay with cash or check, you are welcome to do so at the time of your appointment. Simply make the check payable to Innergized Counseling and Wellness, PLLC, and our therapist will note the payment in the system to ensure that your credit card is not charged.

What can I expect in my first session?During your first session, you can expect to share some of the challenges you may be facing, including your reasons for seeking out counseling. Our primary objective is to establish a strong rapport, so you feel comfortable sharing at a deeper level than a regular conversation. After that, we usually take some time to get to know each other better. This can be more formal, where I ask you questions to understand your history, any previous therapy, and/or issues that you have already resolved. Of course, you will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

What is your cancellation policy?A 24-hour notice is required to cancel or change an appointment. In the event of a missed appointment or a same-day cancellation, you will be charged a session cancellation fee.
